The Bliss is a Breakaway Plus series ship and joined Norwegian's fleet in 2018 as the largest among her sisters. In fact, not long after she came into service, in 2018, the Bliss became the largest vessel to have transited the Panama Canal.
As with so many of Norwegian's vessels, families and the young at heart might feel most at home on board. With plenty of fun itineraries, there's entertainment to match. On deck you'll find a revolutionary race track for zipping about between ports of call, while the entertainment features Jersey Boys, specialty dining, and the Observation Lounge for soaking up glacial views.
Planning your cruise
The Bliss was originally intended to service Alaska routes, add some fun to your wilderness and sightseeing with great ports of call and a memorable on-ship experience.

Dress code
Norwegian's dress is relatively casual and a bit more family friendly in some respects. Children under 12 may wear dress shorts in dining areas, for example. Likewise, they recommend appropriate clothing for youngsters who may be a little more sensitive to air conditioning in some public spaces of the vessel. In general, some items are required at all times, such as footwear and a top. Swim wear is not welcome outside of the buffet or outdoor restaurant. Expect casual dress for much of the rest of the itinerary, but note that tank tops for men, alongside any flip-flops, baseball caps, visors, overly faded or ripped/torn jeans or those worn below the hips are not allowed in any main or specialty dining. Formal dining and certain specialty restaurants may call for something a little more elegant, with country club casual acceptable but only closed toe shoes for men. Make sure you ask about themed nights for your specific sailing, such as the White Hot Party!
Gratuities
Norwegian now features a fleet-wide rate which varies depending on cabin category. For The Haven, Suites, and Concierge categories, a daily rate of US$18.00 per person per day applies. For Mini-Suites cabin categories and below, a rate of US$15.50 per person per day applies. Rates are applied to all passengers aged 3 and older.
