As an adventure lover I have fallen for the mythical appearance of volcanoes. What better place to see geothermal active than Iceland! From the warmth of the geothermal hot springs, to the outstanding colour of all the rich minerals, what isn't to love! I highly recommend renting a 4x4 vehicle or taking the bus tour to Landmannalaugar. From the campsite you can start the Laugavegur trail, the length of the hike depending on you. Some people prefer the one day hike, while others venture out for multiple days. Oh, did I mention that the campsite has a free natural hot spring!
