After traveling to Mexico in 2009, the Mayan Riviera to be precise. A trip of 6 months rapidly turned into living in the ever diverse and beautiful Mexico for close to 6 years... may sound a little crazy, I know.
I fell in love with the beaches and culture, and need I say the food is delicious. One job led to another and there we have it, I was living in Mexico ,Playa del Carmen then later Cuidad de Mexico, aka Mexico City; and after a-lot of determination speaking Spanish.
While living in Mexico I had the opportunity to travel all over the country, and I truly do recommend a vacation here. Visiting Mexico is something you don't want to miss out on!
Take a look at some of my favourite Mexican destinations, I have listed them below for all those who are interested in trying something new and interesting:
San Miguel De Allende
Tulum
Play Del Carmen
Merida
Cozumel
Isla Mujeres
Mexico City
Bacalar
Puerta Vallarta
Sayulita
Tepoztlán
Real de Catorce
Xilitla
Tolantongo
San cristobal de las casas
Chiapas
There are also more than 100 pyramids in Mexico, a few of my favourites to visit include:
Coba, Uxmal, Teotihuacan, Teotihuacan, and Chichen Itza.
Truly, my list of amazing places to visit in Mexico could go on and on!
Investigate some of the place I have listed and please ask me any questions you have regarding them. I am more than happy to elaborate and to share some of my experience and stories.

Camping on Iztaccíhuatl (Dormant Volcanic mountain)🌋 just outside of Mexico City.
It was very chilly but had the most amazing views.
I actually paused for a moment of disbelief that this was the same Mexico I've been to. Looks so chilly!
The volcano looks amazing, maybe a little chillier than what I think about when dreaming of Mexico! But would also love to hear more about any encounters with sea turtles you've enjoyed, especially around Akumal
