While living in Playa Del Carmen I got to experience a lot of the local attractions, one of my favorite days out was visiting Xel-Há with my family when they came to visit.
The park has so many activity’s for all the family to enjoy. You can raft, snorkel, zip line, bike, walk the nature trail, swim in the cenotes, cliff dive if you dare (now there’s a funny story I will share another day), zip line, visit the glass bottom boat to look at all of the tropical fish.
We started our day by enjoying the lazy river and continued it by swimming around the park to experience the above activities. After a long day we wrapped it up with lots of tasty food at the buffet restaurant which serves Mexican specialities and international dishes. I always opted for the Mexican food, where better to eat Mexican than in Mexico!

Also, it looks like your mum had some snorkeling kit with her on the lazy river. Can you just pop off the tube and snorkel around in the mangroves?
