A contemporary, almost boutique resort property. We feel a stay at the Belmond Maroma will give you an altogether different perspective on resort life in the Riviera Maya - one with a little more focus on simply being in Mexico, albeit with French & Spanish artistic twist! The once resident artist, Bertrand Castelli, was assistant to none other than Pablo Picasso. You'll see Castelli's works around the proprerty and you can even rejoice in his daily routines today, if you're feeling inspired.
Only 63 rooms in this impeccable 5-Star property nestled away in a quiet corner of the Riviera Maya, just north from Playa del Carmen. The Belmond is designed with intimate experiences in mind.
Planning your trip
In addition to the normal haunts of Playa del Carmen, guests are invited to enjoy a complimentary bicycle tour, reserve at least 24 hours in advance and available Mondays through Saturdays at 8am.
When you should go
Smaller properties remain popular during peak seasons, expect the best weather and fellow guest numbers to be most numerous between December and March.

Standard documentation for a visit to Mexico applies. If you are not packaging your stay with us, you should make additional considerations toward your airport transfers.
