The local business community is self-described, calling Cecil Court a place for antiquities, books, and curiosities. It's pretty correct, with bookstores and collectible items being the most obvious wares sold here.
Conveniently located and offering more unique items for sale, you could easily add a few moments to your day's activities in Covent Garden or Trafalgar Square to shop for classic books or something unique to remember your trip by. It's also said to have played a role in inspiring JK Rowling's imaginative shops of the Harry Potter universe.

When you should go
This little shopping street is open to the public throughout the day, the various bookstores keep their own business hours. Noon to five is a pretty good guess for most weekdays.
