Cubaocho has a very interesting back story, revolving around its owner, Roberto Ramos and his escape from Cuba. Picked up by the coastguard, he had managed to stow countless unique pieces of art on a boat and disembarked for the US, intent on preserving the works and to present them to the people.
Alongside the collection of interesting Cuban art, you'll enjoy Cubaocho if you like live music and other performance events. But there's also a great opportunity to enjoy an amazing mojito or other rum-based drink, the bar boasts one of the biggest collections of rums in the city and you can even enjoy your drink sat at Frank Sinatra's very own Havana Hotel Bar; another piece saved by Roberto.
