One of the last remaining hand rolled Cuban cigar factories in Miami, this family owned business has embraced the local trends of tourism and moved its factory rolling facilities front of house, allowing visitors and passers-by the opportunity to see a Cuban tradition alive and well. A true aficionado's pastime, it takes more than 18 months of intensive training to learn the basics of hand rolling, many of the rollers at Havana Classic have many decades of experience.
Like cigar? You'll love Havana Classic. They've been diversifying their offered experiences, but without watering down the quality of their cigars. You can now enjoy local art from within the Cuban community, Cuban coffees, and, of course, a handcrafted cigar.
Planning your trip
There are plenty of tours operating in Little Havana which include Havana Classic on their route, it is a very accessible facility. However there is a private reception room featuring a rolling collection of local art and which may be arranged for a private cigar pairing session. There's also an exclusive behind the scenes tour available, where you'll have access to one of the largest commercial humidors in Miami and learn about the owner's own collection.
When you should go
As the rolling tables have become part of the attraction, there are plenty of tours bringing their guests through the main floor areas during morning hours. There are also regular art and music events held here which are operated as private events, typically during evening hours of the weekend.
What else you might need
Tours and events require advanced planning and admission, while the main floor spaces and Cuban coffee bar is open to the general public during regular hours of business.
