Heading south from Mykonos Town, you've got a few options for beaches. The sands at Paralia Korfos face north and into the breeze, which can be significant during some months of the year. This means an opportunity for kite surfing or to watch others trying it out!
If you don't mind a bit of breeze with your beach day, you might find Paralia Korfos a little less busy and certainly less nightclub-like than nearby Ornos. The breezes aren't always blowing, but they are relatively frequent throughout the peaks of the tourist season in Mykonos.
Planning your trip
As above, Paralia Korfos is the right beach for kite surfers and less so for families or couples seeking a calm bit of romance & relaxation.
When you should go
The windiest days tend to fall in July and August, although the breezes aren't necessarily a daily phenomena.
What else you might need
There is no fee to access the beach, however you may want to rent access to a lounger or to make use of the kite surfing equipment available at a nearby shop.
