The White Tower, Thessaloniki's monument-symbol, which now stands alone on the city's coastline, was once the southeastern tower of a 15th Century Ottoman defense fortification. It is now considered the city's most important monument, one of the last remaining icons of a post-Byzantine era.
From ground level there are six more floors above, the top floor hosts a main hall with exterior roof and provides a wonderful view of the surrounding city and sea. Perfect for most visitors to gain some unique perspective of the city!
